Bray Wanderers have had an awful first start to the season in the League of Ireland Premier Division which culminated in them failing to win ten matches in a row in all competitions and being on the wrong side of a losing scoreline in eight games in a row.

However, they have started a resurgence by the looks of things. They beat Falkirk 1-0 in a mid-season friendly at the beginning of July to make it three games unbeaten, and a 3-0 win over Wexford Youths and a goalless draw with Bohemians since has turned that unbeaten streak into a five match one.

However, they are still struggling quite badly in the Premier Division table. They sit just above the relegation playoff position in 10th spot with a meagre 13 points from their opening 18 matches. In the league they have won just two of their last 13 matches, losing eight times.

Finn Harps are having a much more enjoyable season after being promoted from the second tier last season. They hold a ten point advantage over their opponents on Saturday and occupy 8th position.

This is thanks to a recent resurgence of their own. They beat Galway United 1-0 last time out to make it three league wins in a row and four games unbeaten in all competitions, putting an end to their nine match winless streak.

Their away form isn’t quite up to that standard, but they have only lost one of their last five trips away, but have only won one too. Bray Wanderers have only managed two wins from their last five home matches as well. This gives the in form Finn Harps a great chance on Saturday, and my prediction is for a Finn Harps Win or Draw Double Chance at excellent value odds of 5/6. I’m going for a 1-1 correct score prediction at 11/2.

Finn Harps and Bray Wanderers have each won three and lost three of their last six meetings, with Finn Harps getting the three points in each of their last three matches.

Bray Wanderers have only won 33% of their home matches this season, whilst Finn Harps have avoided defeat in 64% of their away days.

Right back duo Michael Daly and Conor Earley are sidelined along with centre back trio Paul Finnegan, Alan Byrne, and Conor Kenna.

Left back duo Matthew Crossan and Ciaran Coil, centre back Packie Mailey, and right winger Gareth Harkin are out injured.
