Rochdale boss Keith Hill may keep changes to a minimum as Millwall visit in Sky Bet League One after his team finally ended their winless run. Dale claimed their first win in 11 games against Gillingham on Saturday after Hill recalled Conrad Logan in goal and forward Joe Bunney returned after two months out injured.

Full-back Joe Rafferty remains a doubt after suffering a blow in last Tuesday's loss at Scunthorpe.

Striker Steve Davies is continuing his recovery from a calf injury. Millwall could remain unchanged for their trip. Manager Neil Harris made one change for their goalless draw against Bury as Shane Ferguson replaced Aiden O'Brien in the starting line-up.

Goalkeeper Jordan Archer remains a doubt as he recovers from a groin injury. The Lions have no other injury worries.

Rochdale and Millwall are two teams who’re currently on the outside looking in, as far as the play-offs are concerned; however, with ten games left to play, both still have every chance of competing for the third and final promotion place come May. Rochdale finally put an end to their win-less run at the weekend and will come here with renewed confidence. Considering Millwall failed to secure the three points at home to Bury on Saturday, the hosts will fancy their chances here.

Having gone on a run where it looked as though Millwall would break into the play-offs somewhat comfortably, the visitors have dropped off slightly in recent weeks. Defensively Neil Harris’ men remain solid, but they’ve been severely lacking at the other end of the pitch. Fortunately, they face a Rochdale side who really do struggle to keep clean sheets here, so this is a good chance for their misfiring attack to get back on track.

Rochdale have been conceding a lot of goals recently – 11 in their last five – but they’re certainly scoring plenty, having notched 11 in their last five fixtures, scoring no less than four last time out. Even though the visitors are a useful defensive outfit, it’s pretty hard not to fancy a team who’re thriving going forward to find the net, especially in front of their own fans.

On their own patch Rochdale are in fact League One’s highest scorers with no less than 38 goals to their name. However you spin it, that’s pretty good going. Keith Hill’s men have failed to score in just three of their 18 home matches this season. However, as touched on above, the hosts have had plenty of problems at the other end, especially lately, having conceded at least once in each of their last seven overall, as well as in four of their last five at home.

Given Rochdale’s somewhat shaky back-line, even a Millwall side who’ve been lacking goals of late ought to get themselves on the score-sheet here. After all, the visitors have fared pretty well from a forward perspective when playing away from home this season. The Lions have scored in 12 of their 16 away matches.

In all honesty, the home side are a team who seem to invite goals at both ends and this isn’t likely to change here. As these two play-off chasers go head-to-head, ‘Both Teams to Score’ is the bet to go for.

Head To Head
Having previously met on just three occasions, Millwal have won this fixture twice, although Rochdale came out on top (2-3) when the pair last met back in August 2016.

Rochdale vs Millwall Stats
Millwall have failed to score in 25% of their away matches, while Rochdale have failed to score in 17% of their home matches.
