El Merreikh will head to Maputo to meet Ferroviario Beira in an aim to register their first win in a CAF Champions League, Group A tie on Saturday afternoon.
The Sudanese outfit are still licking their wounds resulting from their 2-1 loss against Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel last week.
Looking at their opening match, Merreikh drew 1-1 against a fellow Sudanese opponent in Al Hilal Omdurman which boosted their morale.
However, the loss to Sahel will mean there is pressure on their shoulders as they visit Ferroviário and coach Nabil Kouki will need to motivate his men.
On the log table, Merreikh sit at number three with one point in the group and a victory will revive their confidence.
To the hosts, the Mozambican side has not done well in the tournament so far as they are yet to score a goal, but have conceded five goals.
They lost 5-0 to log leaders, Sahel and in their most recent match, they drew 0-0 against Omdurman last week.
Coach Aleixo Fumo will have to motivate his men to bounce back to register a win especially in front of their die hard fans.
Ferroviario occupy the bottom of the table with one point from two matches and winning this one will see them with four points - a huge boost for their knockout qualification hopes.
The encounter will be staged at the Estádio do Ferroviário in Beira on Saturday afternoon, getting underway at 15:00. Watch Live stream free Click Here | Link 2#
