Poland head into their final Euro 2016 Group C game on Tuesday evening knowing only victory can haul them to the summit.
After holding world champions Germany at the Stade de France on Thursday evening, the Poles can make sure of second spot with a draw against the group's strugglers Ukraine.
Poland will increase their chances of a favourable draw if they top the group, but unfancied Northern Ireland must hold or defeat the Germans in Group C's other game to give Adam Nawałka's side any chance.
Opponents Ukraine, meanwhile, cannot progress to the knouckout stages. Group C's basement club have failed to register a point in their opening two matches, losing 2-0 twice, and even victory allied with defeat to Northern Ireland would see them crash out based on their head-to-head record.
But what else is there to know ahead of the final round of Group C matches?
Date, time and venue
Ukraine will face Poland at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille on Tuesday, 21 June. Kick-off is at 17:00 BST.
When and where to watch
BBC will broadcast the game live. Coverage starts at 16:00 BST.
Alternatively, you can follow the action live on Standard Sport.
Team news and probable line-ups
Poland are continuing to sweat on the fitness of first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. The Arsenal goalkeeper missed the 0-0 draw with world champions Germany after picking up a thigh injury in the narrow win over Northern Ireland.
Ukraine are expected to field a full strength side.
Ukraine XI: Pyatov, Fedetskiy, Khacheridi, Rakitskiy, Shevchuk, Stepanenko, Sydorchuk, Yarmolenko, Kovalenko, Konoplyanka, Seleznyov
Poland XI: Fabianski, Piszczek, Glik, Pazdan, Jedrzejczyk, Blaszczykowski, Krychowiak, Maczynski, Grosicki, Milik, Lewandowski
What they said
Poland assistant coach Hubert Malowiejski said: "Third matches tend to be different from the first two.
"I don't agree Ukraine play for nothing. They play for honour what is important for them. We are prepared for very dangerous opponent full of Shakhtar, Dynamo Kiev and Sevilla players.
"We don't know yet whether he [Szczesny] will be fit for Ukraine or not. Our specialists work with him but nothing can be declared at the moment."
Ukraine midfielder Ruslan Rat said: "The fact that we failed to progress to the round of 16 is definitely a bad result for us, as we wanted more. But we have to look forward.
"We have to play the next game for our honour, for the honour of the whole country."
