F91 Dudelange were crowned champions of Luxembourg for the 12th time last season and have been the dominant force in that country since the turn of the century so they’ve played in this competition many times before. Their overall record is not good and they’ve lost 20 of their 30 games in it but they did enjoy a stunning victory over wealthy Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2012 when they progressed on away goals.
They were though knocked out in the 1st Qualifying Round of the Europe League by Irish side UCD this time last year and although they ended last season by winning the league and cup double in Luxembourg, they nearly blew their chances of league glory by failing to win any of their final 3 matches.
Qarabağ are strong favourites to win this tie and are certainly expected to win the home leg pretty comfortably. Their last match was a 1-0 friendly win over Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg so they come into the game with confidence high. Qarabağ won the Azerbaijani League for the 3rd season running last year and with their best ever points tally. They reached the 3rd Qualifying Round last term where they were narrowly beaten 1-0 on aggregate by Celtic but did progress into the Europa League Group stage following a 4-0 play-off win over Young Boys.
Qarabag have won 17 of their last 18 competitive games and are the stronger side on paper so we should see a home win here and the gulf in class is enough that they should chalk up at least a 2 goal advantage. Therefore consider backing Qarabag -1.5 Asian Handicap at 1.925.
Qarabag could stick with the side that impressively beat Zenit in a friendly 2 weeks ago.
The visitors could hand debuts to 4 players including Senegalese forward Momar N'Diaye who was prolific in Luxembourg last season for another club. Watch Live stream free Click Here | Link 2#
