Kaiserslautern vs Eintracht Braunschweig Live Stream Bundesliga 2 Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

Former top-tier veterans FC Kaiserslautern are starting to look like a permanent fixture in the Bundesliga 2. Last season’s 13th place finish was their worst season since their 2007/2008 campaign ten years ago and an out-flux of talent over the summer has dampened their chances of improving going forward. Coach Norbet Meier is also yet to make a significant impact at the club. While his managerial spell at Dusseldorf between 2008 and 2013 was successful enough, his slipping win percentage – 39% at Armenia Bielefeld, 20% at Darmstadt, and 33% at Kaiserslautern – is not particularly inspirational.

Eintracht Braunschweig just missed out on top flight football for this term after a 3rd place finish last season – Eintracht failed to beat Wolfsburg in the relegation play offs. An early bust out from the DFB Pokal two weeks back means that Braunschweig have only the league to focus on for the rest of the season – another run at promotion could be on the cards. Eintracht are also in better form than it looks above, losing just 3 of their 20 Bundesliga 2 matches in 2017 (W10 D7 L3).

Surprisingly, Kaiserslautern are slight favourites with the bookies here, despite taking just one point from their first three matches of the new season (D1 L2). For us though, backing the visitors “draw no bet” has to be the way to go. Kaiserslautern may have held the joint 2nd best defense in the league last season, but the movement of players away from the club throughout the summer, including core members of their defensive unit (see team news), means that the South Germans are simply not as strong at the back this time around. Kaiserslautern have already conceded 6 goals so far this season – that represents 18% of the total goals they conceded over the whole of last season – and their lack of attacking talent means Braunschweig shouldn’t have much trouble on their travels.

Regarding a correct score prediction, Kaiserslautern’s poor scoring record has seen them score just one goal over their opening three matches this season. Braunschweig, on the other hand, have goals to spare, finding the back of the net five times over the same number. Our prediction: a 2-0 Eintracht Braunschweig win.

Head To Head
Eintracht Braunschweig won 1-0 in Kaiserslautern when the two sides last met in April. Eintracht Braunschweig have won or drawn in all of the last 4 meetings between them (W2 D2).

Kaiserslautern vs Eintracht Braunschweig Stats
Braunschweig have lost just 2 of their 10 Bundesliga 2 away days in 2017 (W4 D4 L2). Under 2.5 goals were also scored in 10 of the last 11 meetings between Braunschweig and Kaiserslautern (91%). Kaiserslautern have scored just one goal in three matches so far this campaign.

Kaiserslautern Team News
Kaiserslautern have sold a lot of the defense that made them strong last season: Julian Pollersbeck (goalkeeper) was sold to Hamburg for £3m, while defender Ewerton and defensive mid Marlon Frey returned to their parent clubs after loan spells. Kaiserslautern are also dealing with some injuries - center back Modica and forward Przybylko are both expected out.

Eintracht Braunschweig Team News
Braunschweig's top scorer last season, Domi Kumbela (13 goals), is doubtful. Winger Salim Khelifi and midfielder Patrick Schonfeld are also both expected out.

Real Betis vs Celta Vigo Live Stream La Liga Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

These sides both started their league campaigns last weekend with defeats against strong opponents. They’ll both be desperate to get their first points on the board here. Overall it’s a game that looks like it will produce goals at both ends, while the value seems to be with the visitors in the Full Time result market.

Betis are undergoing quite a big transformation. There have been lots of comings and goings in terms of playing personnel this summer, while new boss Quique Setién is also hoping to instigate radical changes in their approach. He favours an attacking, passing game that brought significant success in his last job at Las Palmas. It’d be wrong to judge them on a defeat at Camp Nou last weekend and we should get a better feel for where they are at here.

Celta are often quite easy to get at when they play away and they did concede 3 times at home to Real Sociedad in their opening fixture. Therefore we should see a more attacking set-up from Betis here and new signing Sergio Leon should have much more support up top.

Overall though it’s the Galicians that still have more all-round quality and are the more settled side. They were winning 2-1 with just 10 minutes to go last weekend so it was threatening to be a very good opening day for new boss Juan Carlos Unzué, before a late collapse. He was at one point thought to be in the running for the Barcelona job, which is testament to his qualities and much like his predecessor in Vigo, he also favours an attacking approach.

New signing Maxi Gomez bagged both Celta goals in that match to make it a debut to remember and the young Uruguayan looks quite a handful up top. Backing Maxi Gomez to score anytime at 12/5 could be worth a bet here.

Including pre-season, both teams have scored in 11 of Celta’s last 12 matches and you can back Both Teams to Score at 3/4, which looks good with both coaches likely to be targeting maximum points.

The bookies make Betis the slight favourites but they really are a work in progress and it could take time before we start to see the best of them. Celta may have a new coach but they are the more settled team and backing Celta to Win at 2/1 also looks to offer value.

Head To Head
Betis won 1-0 in Vigo in April. Prior to that there’d been 3 straight score draws. Both teams have scored in 5 of the last 6 meetings with 4 of those games also producing red cards.

Real Betis vs Celta Vigo Stats
Betis have won just 2 of their last 10 home league games, losing 4 of the last 7. Both teams have scored in Celta’s last 5 competitive games.

Real Betis Team News
Javi Garcia could step into a holding midfield role. New signing Cristian Tello is also a contender on the left-wing but not many changes are expected.

Celta Vigo Team News
Forward John Guidetti is the only absentee for Celta. Maxi Gomez should keep his place having netted a brace on his debut.

Real Sociedad vs Villarreal Live Stream La Liga Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

This is an interesting game between two pretty evenly matched teams who finished 5th and 6th last season in La Liga. They’ve both added a little bit over the summer, although Villarreal look to have done the better business overall. They didn’t make a great start to the season but with a great record against Sociedad, they should get something from this one.

The Basques are still a slightly unpredictable side. They got an excellent 3-2 win at Celta Vigo on the opening weekend but they do often struggle for consistency. Their home win percentage last term was 53%, which isn’t actually that great for a top six side in La Liga. Defensively they did look a bit suspect last weekend with a new-look defensive unit and there could be areas for Villarreal to exploit here.

The Yellow Submarine started with a 1-0 defeat at Levante but only courtesy of a late penalty. They were missing a few players in that game too but overall do still have most of the solid defensive and midfield base from last term, which contributed to them conceding just 0.79 goals per game away from home. That should restrict a Real Sociedad side, whose strength is in attack, to relatively few opportunities in this one.

At the other end Villarreal look to have a bit more bite to them now. They handed debuts to Carlos Bacca and highly rated Enes Ünal last weekend and once the duo click they could be a very useful strike partnership and certainly an upgrade on what they had last season.

They should test out a slightly suspect Sociedad back four here and given Villarreal’s strong recent record against the Basque club, backing Double Chance – Villarreal or Draw at 3/4 could be the smart bet here.

Head To Head
The sides met 4 times last term with Villarreal completing a league double over the Basques but losing out in a Copa del Rey tie. Sociedad have won just 1 of their last 10 games against Villarreal overall.

Real Sociedad vs Villarreal Stats
Villarreal avoided defeat in 74% of their away league games last season. 26% of Sociedad home games last term ended in score draws.

Real Sociedad Team News
Inigo Martinez should be fit to return in central defence. Either Juanmi or Carlos Vela will replace Sergio Canales on the right-hand side of the three man attack.

Villarreal Team News
Cedric Bakambu and Samu Castillejo are back from suspension and are expected to start up front and on the wing respectively. First-team regulars Roberto Soriano and Bruno are out injured.

Malaga vs Eibar Live Stream La Liga Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

Eibar, almost unbelievably, are now in their 4th season in Spain’s top flight and it’s a measure to their progress that the Basque minnows are no longer seen as one of the relegation favourites. Like Malaga they finished comfortably in mid-table last season and this promises to be a tight game although the hosts could just edge it.

Malaga found themselves in a bit of a mess at one stage last term but they really rallied late on under Michel, their third boss of the campaign. He did a fine job, guiding Malaga to wins in 6 of their last 9 league matches to put a bit of gloss on a pretty desperate campaign. That included wins in 4 of their final 5 home games including victories over Barcelona and Sevilla.

If they can carry that momentum over then they could start brightly this term. They’ve lost striker Sandro which is a significant blow but they have brought in Borja Baston on loan to replace him. He scored 18 league goals for Eibar two seasons ago and if he can find that sort of form again, he could be a real asset. There looks to be value in backing Borja Baston to score anytime against his former employers at 15/8.

You have to wonder how long Eibar can keep on performing miracles and competing with Spain’s biggest clubs. They did slightly start to fade last season, losing 5 of their final 7 league games. Since then they’ve sold key centre-back Florian Lejeune to Newcastle and that is quite a big hole to be filled and is something Borja could exploit in this game.

With home advantage, Malaga do look the side more likely to edge it and backing a Home Win at 6/5 could be the value bet.

Head To Head
The 6 meetings since Eibar joined La Liga have produced 3 Malaga wins and 2 for Eibar. Malaga have won 4 of the last 5 meetings at La Rosaleda.

Malaga vs Eibar Stats
Eibar let in 1.58 goals per away game on average last season. Malaga have scored 11 goals in their last 5 home league games despite facing 3 of last season’s top 4 in that run.

Malaga Team News
Paul Baysse is likely to make his debut in central defence. Zdravko Kuzmanovic has rejoined the club and may start in midfield. Borja Baston should lead the line having moved from Swansea.

Eibar Team News
Eibar have managed to hold onto front pair Kike Garcia and Sergi Enrich and they should lead the line here. Pedro Leon is injured though while midfielder Gonzalo Escalante is suspended. Paulo Oliveira should come in at centre-back following the sale of Florian Lejeune.

Levante vs Villarreal Live Stream La Liga Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

This is a local derby, if not a particularly fierce one, and both sides will be gunning for a bright start to the new season. Levante cruised to the Segunda Division title last season to ensure an immediate return to the top flight. However the gap between Spain’s top two leagues is simply massive these days and they could be in for a rude awakening here against a side of Villarreal’s quality.

Fran Escribá has just passed a year in charge of Villarreal. A 5th place finish and a 44% win percentage in all competitions represented a solid first season and they’ve done some good business over the summer. Their main issue last term was that, although they were strong in midfield and played good football, they lacked a prolific striker. They’ve taken real steps to address that by signing Enes Ünal from Man City and most notably Carlos Bacca on loan from Milan. He was prolific in La Liga with Sevilla and could be the missing piece in their jigsaw.

Levante have been pretty busy too but there hasn’t been any really eye-catching signings. They could have done with holding onto Deyverson and Víctor Camarasa who impressed on loan at Alaves last term but they opted to cash in, selling the pair. The Valencia club also ended last season quite poorly with just 3 wins from their final 10 games, despite having bossed the division.

Overall they look like they will struggle to be anything other than a bottom eight side this season and against a strong Villarreal outfit, the value looks to be found by backing Villarreal to Win at 13/10.

Additionally Villarreal were very good at the back last term, conceding just 0.87 goals per game and 69% of their away games produced under 2.5 goals. Given that, backing Villarreal & Under 2.5 Goals at 10/3 looks good too.

Head To Head
Villarreal have won 5 of the last 6 meetings. They won 3-1 when the sides met in pre-season last month.

Levante vs Villarreal Stats
Villarreal had an excellent 47% away clean sheet ratio last season in La Liga. Levante lost 58% of their matches the last time they were in La Liga, two seasons ago.

Levante Team News
Enis Bardhi has joined from Ujpest and could be used in the number 10 role here. Last season's top scorer Roger Marti has a long-term injury though so loanee Alex Alegria could get a run in the side up front. Fellow new-boy Roberto Pier is suspended.

Villarreal Team News
Fran Escriba has some significant selection problems for this game. Keeper Sergio Asenjo and midfield linchpin Bruno are both injured. Ruben Semedo should make his debut at centre-back but both Cedric Bakambu and Samu Castillejo are suspended. Carlos Bacca is available having moved from Milan but fellow new arrival Enes Unal may beat him to a starting berth up front.

Benfica vs Belenenses Primeira Liga Live Stream Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

Benfica left it late to beat Chaves in their last game, after coming up against a highly organised side. That continued their struggles away from home – they failed to win a match by more than two goals on the road last term. They’ve found things much easier at home of late, which is something that Belenenses could find out this weekend.

Before their clash with Chaves, Benfica had hit three goals in their opening two matches of the new season. They’ve scored at least three goals in nine of their last 11 home league games. Their scoring form should continue here, and we expect the champions to ease to the points this weekend.

They were unbeaten at home last season, and they were comfortable winners in most games. They won by a two goal margin in 12 of their 14 home victories, helped by the fact that they conceded a goal every other game in the league. Having averaged 2.88 goals per game at home, this should be an easy win for the champions.

Benfica won to nil against all of the bottom six at home, scoring at least three in each. While Belenenses don’t lose heavily all too often, they were in that bottom six which Benfica cruised past. The visitors lost by two or more in 67% of their away defeats last term, while they lost at five of the top seven on the road.

We can’t see any way that Benfica don’t run away with this game, as Belenenses have failed to score in five of their last six away. We’re backing Benfica with a -1 handicap at 4/7 with bet365, which seems like a big price given how they dominated Portuguese football last term. We’re also backing their streak against the bottom six to continue, which is priced at 6/1 with bet365.

Benfica vs Belenenses Stats

Benfica are unbeaten in 24 matches at home. They won to nil in 59% of their home matches, while 82% of their games at their own ground saw over 2.5 goals last term.

Benfica Team News

Benfica have no new injury concerns heading in to this game, but they do have a couple of absentees missing once again, including left-back Alex Grimaldo.

Guimaraes vs Sporting Lisbon Primeira Liga Live Stream Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

Sporting suffered a midweek setback, as they drew 0-0 at home to Steaua in the Champions League. They authorised the sale of William Carvalho to West Ham on the basis that they were widely expected to make the next round, but they might put a stopper on that deal now. The last thing that the Lions need this week is a trip to the side who finished directly behind them.

Guimaraes shocked everyone with their fourth place finish last term and run to the Portuguese Cup final. They’ll want to build on that this week, especially after their loss at Estoril last time out. They never really got going in that game, but they’ll be glad to return to home surroundings.

The hosts won eight of their 17 matches here in Liga Nos last term, and that form should help them to trouble Sporting. The visitors were particularly weak against top sides on the road, conceding away to all of the top eight last season. That puts them in a tough position here, especially with one eye on their midweek Champions League trip.

Sporting did score at all of those top eight sides, so we expect both teams to score here. These two shared two score draws in the league last season, and both are defensively weaker this time around. Sporting saw both teams score in 65% of their away league games last term, so that bet seems worth backing at 4/5 with bet365.

We’re also backing the hosts to get a result, not just because Sporting need to split focus with Europe. While the home side lost away last weekend, they lost just four of their home games last term. Two of those came against the top two, while they avoided defeat in every game they scored in. That makes the hosts look like value on the double chance market at 11/10 with bet365. We’re also backing a 2-1 home win at a huge 14/1 with bet365.

Vitoria Guimaraes vs Sporting Lisbon Stats

Guimaraes have won five of their last six at home in the league. Sporting lost by a single goal in 75% of their away defeats in the league last term.

Vitoria Guimaraes Team News

Josue and Vigario were both sent off in the defeat to Estoril, so they both sit out here.

Sporting Lisbon Team News

William Carvalho misses out as he's on the verge of a move to West Ham. Alan Ruiz is a doubt for the visitors, who may make changes ahead of a crucial Champions League game this week.

Napoli vs Nice Champions League Qualification Live Stream Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

Napoli are back in the Champions League for the second consecutive season this year, but they’ve not been granted the easiest of ties to try and make it to the group stages. Nice have been very impressive over the past couple of seasons and this will be a difficult match for a Napoli side who are starting their competitive campaign on Wednesday.

The Italians have had a fairly mixed bag in pre-season, beating a trio of minnows before drawing with Chievo and Bournemouth, losing to Atletico Madrid, and beating Bayern Munich and Espanyol. They have certainly challenged themselves and should be up to full fitness, but their lack of transfer activity is a worry for their fans as they look to close the gap on the dominant Juventus in Serie A.

Napoli have only brought in Adam Ounas from Bordeaux, with Nikola Maksimovic and Marko Rog joining permanently after loan spells last season. They could do with more arrivals to challenge at the top, but they do have a couple of stars. Lorenzo Insigne is one of those – The striker netted 18 league goals last season and laid on nine assists, and he looks a fantastic choice for our anytime goalscorer predictions.

Nice’s competitive campaign began a while ago as they beat Ajax on away goals in the Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round, and they have since started their league season too. It’s not gone particularly well though, with them losing to St Etienne and Troyes. After their two draws against Ajax they are now winless in the four games since their action began.

The French visitors’ history in Europe isn’t a particularly long one, with them only returning to continental action in 2013, after over 15 years without it. They did make the Europa League group stages last year, but this is actually their first Champions League showing since their 1960 appearance in the European Cup.

Nice are definitely classed as the underdogs here, but I think they’re a bit unfairly priced. They did very well to beat Europa League finalists Ajax earlier in the season and they’re facing a Napoli side who have only won one of their last seven Champions League games.

The hosts have conceded in nine of their 12 home games in this competition, and with Nice netting two away against Ajax, odds of 11/10 for Both Teams to Score look good value. We think Napoli are far too short for this too, so backing a Draw at 17/4 alongside a 2-2 correct score predictions at 22/1 could yield a lot of value.

Botafogo RJ vs Flamengo RJ Ao Vivo Live Stream Match Preview & Betting Prediction 2017

Poland vs Northern Ireland Euro 2016 qualifying Football Match Preview - June 12, 2016

Poland winger Kamil Grosicki is a major doubt after he picked up an ankle injury last week against Lithuania.

The Poles are already missing two other wide players, with Maciej Rybus and Pawel Wszolek left out of the squad because of injuries.

Northern Ireland's Kyle Lafferty looks to have overcome the groin problem he suffered in training on Tuesday.

They have no other injury concerns, but Chris Brunt misses the tournament with a long-term knee injury.

Northern Ireland's 30-year wait is finally over as they return to a major finals for the first time since the 1986 World Cup.

Their stunning qualifying campaign - through which they became the first fifth-seeded country to win a European Championship qualifying group - has helped lift Michael O'Neill's side to their highest Fifa world ranking (25th), two places above Poland.

They are currently unbeaten in 12 games - a new national record. No country competing at Euro 2016 boasts a longer undefeated run.

They enter Euro 2016 having not conceded in 271 minutes, and they may well need to be at their disciplined, defensive best on their European Championship debut against Poland as they try to stifle the goalscoring talent of Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish centre-forward scored a joint-record 13 goals in qualifying, equalling ex-Northern Ireland striker David Healy's effort in 2008. As a team, Poland scored 33 goals - the highest total in qualifying.

Head-to-head

Northern Ireland are unbeaten in their last two games against Poland (W1, D1) after losing the previous three.
The two nations' last European Championship encounter was in 1962, when Northern Ireland won both qualifying matches 2-0.
They last met in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup. Kyle Lafferty scored for Northern Ireland in a 1-1 away draw in September 2009.

Poland

This is the third time Poland have qualified for the finals of the European Championship. They have never progressed past the group stage.
Poland are yet to win a game at the European Championship (D3, L3).
They are also yet to keep a clean sheet and have scored just three goals in six matches.
Arkadiusz Milik supplied six assists - the joint-highest figure in qualifying. Four of those assists were to Lewandowski.

Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland are appearing in their first European Championship finals.
They have played in three World Cups, reaching the quarter-finals in 1958. Their appearance in 1986 was the last time they featured at a major tournament.
More than half of Northern Ireland's 16 qualifying goals came from set-pieces - six from corners, three via indirect free-kicks. That is the highest ratio of any Euro 2016 finalist.
Kyle Lafferty was involved in half of Northern Ireland's goals in qualifying, scoring seven and assisting one.
Northern Ireland scored six headed goals in qualifying. Of all the Euro 2016 finalists, only opponents Poland had more, with eight.
